During a talk with Screen Rant at Comic-Con, director Jame Gunn explained that Thor: Love and Thunder has no impact on the main plot of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. Gunn also shared that while he was writing the main script, he did not know that the Guardians were present in a short scene at the beginning of Thor 4:
“I didn’t know that the Guardians were present in Thor 4, even before the movie was shown on the screen. When it is known, the script of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 has already been completed, so it can be said that whether Thor or the Guardians break up or not will not affect the upcoming Vol.3 of the Guardians. soldiers.”
According to Mango, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is the movie set by Marvel to launch phase 4 of the MCU, unfortunately this work has been delayed for a few reasons.
